Johanna Horn has more than 25 years of sound professional experience in personnel development and personnel consulting. In April 2017 she joined the LAB team in Dusseldorf in April 2017 as principal.

A graduate in English and Romance languages, Johanna Horn’s first professional experience was as a branch manager at Berlitz Deutschland GmbH in the field of language and intercultural training before switching to personnel consulting in 2000. As a research consultant, she first got to know the executive search business from the bottom up and then progressively became a consultant, where she managed projects and clients completely independently.

Among her clients are the top internationally positioned medium-sized enterprises in the  manufacturing industry, but also international groups with significant activities in the German-speaking and European area.

Johanna Horn’s recipe for success is based on a holistic, cross-functional approach to her clients, in addition to a very deep understanding of the industry, the corporate culture and the long-term HR strategy of sustainable appointments as a goal. She sees herself as an ambassador for her clients, and she always wins over top candidates who are not actually actively searching.

Johanna Horn is passionate about her work as a personnel consultant. She is married and the mother of a son. The balance to her professional life is within her family. Among the activities she enjoys are outdoor sports, travelling and getting to know other cultures; she also enjoys reading and is an enthusiastic hobby cook.
