August 23, 2005, London — Penrhyn International announced today that Christopher Mill has been honoured with the 2005 Chairman¿s Award. The Chairman's Award is presented each year to a member of Penrhyn International who has contributed significantly to the retained executive search profession through contributions to Penrhyn International.
Penrhyn International is one of the largest global partnerships of independent retained executive search firms. Established in 1979, Penrhyn has 16 member firms in Europe, North America, South America, India, Australia and Japan.
Mill is a co-founder of Penrhyn International in 1979. His career in retained executive search started in 1977. Mill has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and is a recipient of the AESC's Gardner Heidrick Award for outstanding contributions to the retained executive search profession.
He is President of Christopher Mill and Partner in London. He was awarded a Master's degree for the London Business School and earned his undergraduate degree from London University. Prior to joining the search profession, he had significant positions with Honeywell and Memorex Corporations.
